QA Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated specialist, determined to build a successful career in Software Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining, documenting and executing test plans for the MAC OS product suite
• Reporting issues through the bug tracking system, effectively following up and communicating test results
• Performing tests against builds and test procedures
• Conduct root-cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion
• Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of improving the testing process, the quality of our products and increasing automation
• Develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools and automated test suites, in response to the growing feature set
• Collaborate with other platform team representatives to extend the framework functionality and to increase test coverage according to the product needs
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

Requirements

• Strong QA skills (troubleshooting, bug isolation and reporting, good understanding of testing concepts, methodologies and processes)
• 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer for MAC OS platform in an Agile development environment
• 1+ years of experience in test automation for MAC OS products
• Good understanding of MAC OS or Linux operating systems
• Good critical thinking and capacity for analysis – testing starts from the first requirements document up
• Experience in working with test case management tools/bug tracking tools
• Good scripting knowledge (Python, Selenium, Bach)
• Previous experience testing API’s is a plus
• Good understanding of SDLC
• Very good attention to details and be meticulous
• Good spoken and written English
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to work in an energizing environment with rapidly changing requirements
• Ability to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
• ISTQB Foundation or any other QA certifications are a plus
• QA Automation Engineer experience is a plus
